Cryptocurrency Fraud
Scammers send phishing messages claiming the victim has received an unexpected Bitcoin or cryptocurrency deposit that must be withdrawn within a limited time. These attacks often include fake login portals that harvest wallet credentials or seed phrases. In some cases, victims are asked to 'verify' their account by entering their private keys, ultimately leading to the theft of their funds. Attackers exploit urgency and financial incentive to pressure victims into making quick decisions.
